The Library of Congress is hosting the 2009 National Book Festival on September 25, 2010 on the National Mall.

Handicap Accessible
This event is wheelchair accessible. ALL Author Pavilions will have ASL interpreting service. There are also listening devices available, Braille programs and additional special services are available at the Accessibility and Information tent (close to the Smithsonian Metro)

Cost
The event is FREE. Books can be purchased onsite for Author signing or may be from home.


Hours
10 am to 5:30 pm (rain or shine)

Transportation
Parking is limited and Metro is recommended. Exits for Metro are either Smithsonian Metro (Blue and Orange Lines) or Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter (Green and Yellow Lines).

Food
Onsite Vendors will have hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks. You can bring food from home. You may want to also bring a blanket or foldable chair as tables and seating are limited.
